Only put big sails in the car for this trip and were spot on. For the first
hour (12.00) were slightly underpowered but did decided to go for it with
the front footstrap.
After reading all about the new Neil Pryde 3D footstraps on Friday I
thought about buying a set as I have always had problems getting into the
straps, mainly due to the fact that I have squashed them flat. But with a
junior hacksaw and an old 2L bottle I now have footstraps that keep their
shape and when the wind picked up what a joy at last to be in the straps,
although still a bit uncomfortable and scary. But a lot cheaper than
£60.00.
Spent in total about 3 hours on the water and 80% in the front straps, now
just got to move the back foot into and not on top of the rear one and Iím
away.
Radical Rob there along with about 10-15 others, a good session with real
progress.
